Selective soil-applied herbicide for protection against annual broadleaf and grass weeds

Advantages

Recommendations for use

Application features
The application rate depends on soil texture and humus content. Minimum rates are used on light soils; on heavy (high-humus) soils the rate is increased to the maximum.

Compatibility
Ideal tank-mix partner. Compatible with most products. Used together with other soil-applied herbicides to broaden the spectrum of action (acetochlor, metolachlor, propisochlor). However, a compatibility test should be carried out when preparing the tank mix
Application precautions
Inter-row cultivation is not recommended after application of the product, as it may reduce the herbicidal effect.

Mechanism of action

When the product is applied before weed emergence, prometryn is absorbed by both the shoots and the roots of germinating weeds. On emerged weeds, prometryn acts through the leaves. Its efficacy is due to the ability of prometryn to block photosynthesis in weeds.
