WHO Classification II class (High-toxic substance)

Advantages of product

The preparation controls effectively annual dicotyledonous and cereal weeds, including field mustard and wild radish.

The preparation provides the long-lasting protection – up to 10 – 12 weeks (depending on the weather conditions).

It is a perfect partner for tank mixtures with other soil herbicides.

It is not phytotoxic.

The preparation provides maximum control over field mustard and wild radish.

Mechanism of Action

PERUN is a herbicide of the selective action. The preparation is absorbed by both sprouts, and roots of sprouting weeds when applying the preparation to their sprouts. PERUN impacts on the sprouting weeds through the leaves. The effectiveness of the preparation is achieved due to the ability of the active substance of the preparation (promethrin) to block the process of photosynthesis in weed plants.

Preparation Properties

Application of a herbicide significantly reduces the adverse effects of weeds in the early, most critical period for the culture. It destroys weeds at the time of their germination or within 5-7 days when it is applied post-emergence. The long protective period lasts 10-12 weeks (depending on the weather conditions). It is not phytotoxic to the culture in compliance with the rules of application. It does not affect the following cultures in crop rotation.

Recommendations for Use

Application Features

The standard of the preparation consumption depends on the mechanical components of the soil and its potential contamination. The decreased standards are used on the light soil; the consumption standard should be increased on the heavy (highly humus) soil to the maximum. In the absence of soil moisture, it is recommended to arrange the shallow wrapping by 2-3 cm. Spraying is carried out in the morning or evening at an air temperature of +15 ... + 25°С.

Compatibility

The preparation is a perfect partner for tank mixtures. It is compatible with most preparations. It is used together with other soil herbicides to expand the spectrum of action (acetochlor, metolachlor). However, in each case, it is required to perform a compatibility test before the tank mixture is prepared.

Precautions in Use

After the preparation has been applied, it is not recommended to conduct inter-row cultivation as it can reduce its herbicidal effect.
