LNZ Group is a Ukrainian vertically-integrated agroindustrial holding specializing in the trade of sowing materials and plant protection products, grain and technical crops, animal husbandry and grain trader activities. It was created on the basis of Lebedynsky seed plant.
The company develops agribusiness, seed production, and distribution. It processes 80 thousand hectares of land and has more than 3 thousand workers in the season. The LNZ Group includes 33 agricultural companies, as well as a specialized corn plant, a multifunctional plant for the production of wheat seeds, barley, peas, soybeans, sunflower, flax, spellet, 2 elevators in Cherkasy and Sumy regions, 5 logistic centers and its own customs warehouse.
LNZ Agroholding is a long-term partner in providing seed crop services for the world's leading breeders: Bayer (DEKALB), CORTEVA (Dow, DuPontPioneer), Syngenta, Limagrain, and others, as well as the official distributor of the German company Bayer in Ukraine.
In November 2018, a group of LNZ companies introduced a new brand of generic plant protection products "DEFENDA" to the Ukrainian market, which included 46 drugs (23 herbicides, 6 fungicides, 6 insecticides, 7 anti-infectious agents, and growth regulators, adherents and desiccants).
In addition to its core business, the LNZ group is well known for its social initiatives. During 2015, the company invested more than UAH 20 million in the social sphere of the villages in the district and paid over 67 million taxes to the state.
