The active ingredient quickly penetrates into the plant and decomposes in the tissues with the formation of ethylene. At the cellular level, ethylene acts as an inhibitor of auxin transportation and biosynthesis of gibberellins, this leads to artificial regulation of growth processes. In addition, there is stimulation of the synthesis of solid substances (lignin, pigments, cellulose, sugars), which accelerates the maturation of fruits in cultivated plants. The dynamics of plant biomass accumulation toward fruit, the grain is changing.
The Tava, RK preparation promotes reducing the growth, shortens and increases the elasticity of the stem, as a result, prevents the emergence of grains, but this does not affect the size of the ear and the shape of the grain. Under the influence of ethephon, plants grow with thicker and wider leafy plates with dark green colouration.
