Application precautions

In areas of insufficient moisture, application with incorporation to a depth of up to 5 cm is recommended. The efficacy of the product decreases when the temperature drops below +5 °C.

Mechanism of action

Metolachlor has high herbicidal activity against annual grass and some broadleaf weeds. Metolachlor acts on germinating weeds. The active ingredient of the product penetrates mainly into the coleoptile tissues. It actively inhibits cell development and division by disrupting lipid metabolism. As a result of metolachlor action, weed seedlings stop growing and die.
