Mechanism of Action

METAXA preparation acts on the nervous system of insects, blocking the movement of nerve signals between nerve endings, resulting in an insect ceases to feed and die. Such a mechanism of action excludes the development of cross-resistance to this preparation.

The preparation acts against a complex of pests for the protection of sugar beet and sunflower. It has a high level of safety for personnel. It is characterized by a wide spectrum of activity, rapid penetration into the plant through the leaves and roots, thermal stability and high solubility in water.

Recommendations for Use

Application Features

The spray solution is required to be used within a few hours after it was prepared. It can be used in advance (3 – 4 weeks before), and immediately before sowing, as well.

Precautions in Use

The preparation can be used in tank mixtures with the sterilizing preparations of fungicidal action, and added a complex of mineral fertilizers, as well. However, in each particular case, it is required to check the preparations for compatibility.
