Mechanism of Action

The preparation acts as a contact agent locally penetrates the tissue of the seed, and then distributed in the soil around it. The plant begins to sprout, absorbing the root system of the preparation, which subsequently spreads throughout the plant after exposure thereof at the surface. Fludioxonil suppresses the process of glucose synthesis and the growth of mycelium fungi, as well as disturbs the function of cell membranes causing the death of pathogens.

Recommendations for Use

Application Features

It is recommended to sterilize seeds pre-cleaned off dust and debris, which ensures good adhesion of the preparation. The quality of the sterilization should be controlled visually by the intensity of the colouration of the seeds with the colouring agent contained in the preparation. Seeds should be sterilized with the aqueous suspension of the preparation 1 – 30 days prior to their sowing.

Spray Material Consumption Standards

Seeds should be sterilized with an aqueous suspension of the preparation at the rate of 8-10 litres of water per ton of seeds.

Compatibility

The preparation can be used in tank mixes with sterilizing preparations of fungicidal and insecticidal action, however, in such case, it is recommended to test the pesticides for compatibility.
