Recommendations for use

Application features

Treatment should be carried out during the period of intensive weed growth and at the 3-10 leaf stage of corn, provided that the crop does not shield the weeds from the working solution. The optimal temperature for herbicide application is +15 - 25°C.

Compatibility

For effective destruction of broadleaf weeds, the product can be applied together with a partner. In each specific case, it is recommended to carry out an additional compatibility check of the products.

Mechanism of action

Nicosulfuron begins to be absorbed by leaves and stems immediately after application and, due to its high systemicity, quickly moves to the root system. It stops cell division by blocking the acetolactate synthase enzyme, which is responsible for the biosynthesis of essential amino acids. Treated weeds quickly stop growing, taking on a reddish tint after 1 week. Complete death occurs within approximately 3 weeks. It destroys only those weeds that have emerged by the time of treatment.
