The preparation controls more than 40 types of cereal weeds, including of such problem as common couch grass (Agropyron repens), green valley grass (Sorghum halepense), chicken panis / prickly grass (Panicum crussgalli) and others, as well as dead cereal beans.
The preparation is compatible with the most herbicides against dicotyledonous weeds.
The preparation demonstrates a high selectivity with respect to cultivated plants, provides the opportunity to choose freely the time of protective treatment of regardless of the phase of the development of a culture.
The preparation enables to avoid using the soil herbicides.
An active substance of such herbicide as BLADE, when absorbed by leaves and stems of weeds, penetrates into the plant, concentrates at growth points and blocks the biosynthesis of lipids. When it applies to dicotyledons, the preparation is involved in metabolism and inactivated. The preparation destroys both terrestrial and underground (root) parts of cereals, preventing the proliferation of perennial species. Due to its selectivity, the preparation does not reveal phytotoxicity in dicotyledonous cultivated plants, to be used on which it is recommended. The action of the preparation on cereal weeds is manifested in 3-5 days in the form of chlorosis of the leaves and roasting of the points of growth, plants die in 7-21 days after treatment.
The preparation controls over 40 species of annual and perennial cereal weeds, including dead cereal beans. Barnyard grass (Echinochloa crusgalli), common mildew, wild oats (bastard oat), cocksfoot grass (Dactylis glomerata), koeleria, awnless bromegrass (Bromus inermis), small goose grass (Eragrostis minor), mouse barley (Hordeum murinum), fairway crested grass (Agropyron cristatum), common couch grass (Agropyron repens), scutch grass (Cynodon dactylon), green valley grass (Sorghum halepense), various kinds of koeleria, green foxtail grass (Setaria viridis) and hairy crabgrass (Digitaria sanguinalis) are the most sensitive to the action of the BLADE preparation.
Due to the systemic action, it promotes the rapid destruction of cereal weeds and their root systems. There are no restrictions when used in crop rotation. The composition of the Blade preparation includes a surfactant, which increases the sensitivity of weeds to the action of the preparation due to better penetration into the plant and better adhesion of the preparation to its surface. Regardless of the phase of the culture’s development, the highest efficiency in combating against perennial cereal weeds is achieved at their height of 10-20 cm when treated with a herbicide, against annual cereals - in the phase of development of 2-6 leaves of weeds. The preparation is resistant to rinsing in an hour after application.
