A two-component insecticide for controlling a wide range of chewing and sucking pests.
Imidacloprid, due to its contact and stomach properties, damages the nervous system of adult insects and their larvae, irritates their receptors, causing convulsions and rapid death. Imidacloprid penetrates all parts of the plant through leaves, stems and roots and is translocated acropetally. Imidacloprid acts as an antagonist of postsynaptic nicotinic receptors, subsequently destroying the insects' central nervous system, causing the pests to die. Lambda-cyhalothrin acts on the insects' nervous system, disrupting the permeability of cell membranes and blocking sodium channels, which disrupts energy and respiratory metabolism and causes death.
