Recommendations for use

Application features
Spraying should be carried out at air temperatures from +15 to 25Β°C and wind speeds no higher than 5 m/s. For pre-emergence application, it can be used in tank mixes with propisochlor-based herbicides. In tank mixes, application at minimum rates is recommended.
Compatibility
For post-emergence application, do not use with any tank-mix partners (plant protection products, micronutrient fertilizers)

Mechanism of action

Aclonifen disrupts chlorophyll synthesis in weed plants, is absorbed by the coleoptile, hypocotyl and cotyledons but not by the root system, and moves to the meristematic tissues of the weed plant. Aclonifen leads to the accumulation of phytoene in the plant, which suppresses the synthesis of chlorophyll and other photosynthetically active pigments. The action of aclonifen manifests as discoloration of germinating young weeds. Their growth stops and within 2-3 weeks they die.
