Due to its local and systemic action, the preparation reliably protects the crop areas against affections.
The active substance inhibits the ergosterol biosynthesis in fungus cells, which leads to the destruction of the pathogen cell walls, stopping of mycelium growth and its fast death.
The preparation suppresses the fusarium blight of the ear by 50% when treated after the signs of the disease have appeared. Prochloraze penetrates into all parts of the plant and remains to be active for up to 4 weeks.
