Recommendations for use

Application features
When treating seed with the product, the seed must be undamaged, clean and free of impurities. During application, the quality of the treatment must be monitored (visual inspection, uniformity of grain coverage) by the degree of colouring and the product application rate.
Working solution consumption rate
10 l/t
Working solution pH requirements
from 5 to 9
Compatibility
Compatible with most seed treatments, incl. biologically active ones. However, in each specific case a trial mix must be carried out to check compatibility.

Mechanism of action

The combination of difenoconazole and cyproconazole provides high efficacy in controlling smut diseases, root rots, seed mould and early manifestations of powdery mildew and septoria. Fludioxonil acts by contact, locally penetrates the seed tissues and is distributed in the soil around it. It suppresses the process of glucose synthesis and the growth of fungal mycelium, and also disrupts the functions of cell membranes, causing the death of disease pathogens. When the product application rate is observed, BASTION Trio stimulates seed germination, allows the seeding rate to be reduced and at the same time increases productive tillering.
